Contra Costa Science Workshop

The Contra Costa Community Science Workshop  (CCSW) was born in June, 2024 and is  located at the Boys & Girls Club of Contra Costa, Martinez Clubhouse in partnership with New Leaf Collaborative (NLC).  The CCSW exists for Club members to have a space to exercise their creativity and expand their imaginations and for the community to engage in multigenerational sharing and fostering curiosity about how the physical and natural world works. Together with the  Global Alliance of Community Science Workshops and the Exploratorium, we created the Contra Costa Community Science Workshop to give youth opportunities to tinker, build, experiment & explore their creativity.
